Soaked Pancakes

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
  • 2 eggs lightly beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Mix together milk and vinegar.
  2. Whisk in the flour.
  3. Allow to sit on the counter, covered, overnight.
  4. In the morning, whisk in the remaining ingredients.
  5. Pour 1/4 cup of batter on a hot greased skillet.
  6. Cook until the edges start to bubble.
  7. Flip and cook for another couple minutes.
  8. Remove to a plate.
  9. Repeat until all the batter is used.
