Baked beans is perfect for those summer barbecues! This is a staple side that always shows up. We love it as a side for anything grilled, burger and hot dogs roasted over a fire, or even steak or ribs prepared on the stove or in the oven.

This recipe has been in my family for as long as I can remember, and I love making it! It’s so easy, as it uses canned pork and beans, which we keep on hand specifically for this recipe! My children even love this recipe, which is not something I would have thought! They are not the biggest fan of beans, so I was expecting them to not eat this dish. However, the last time I made too much (my mom taught me to cook like there is always double the amount of people coming!), my kids ate the leftovers cold with no complaints!

My mom and I have always gotten compliments on this recipe whenever we serve it and I hope it does the same for you! Baked beans are a staple dish and I’m happy to share this family recipe with you!
