Hand soap is an obvious thing that everyone uses, and with a house full of 10 people on a daily basis and guests coming over as well, we go through a lot of hand soap in this house! While looking for ways to reduce the expenses in the house, hand soap was one of the first I looked for, since we go through so much!
So I was looking for a recipe that was made with simple ingredients, easy to make up when we ran out, gentle on the skin and smelled good. Well, eventually I settled on Castile soap as my main ingredient. It’s super gentle on the skin, concentrated (so a little goes a long way), and really easy to make into different cleaning recipes. Over time, I’ve started using it as the base of all my cleaning recipes (more recipes to come!).
Since making this version of hand soap, it’s been my go to! I love how well it works, and how easy it is to make up! Plus, I can change the scent to whatever I’m feeling like, which is so much fun around the holidays! It also has lessened the drying out of my skin in the winter, which has been a huge blessing! So this recipe is here to stay!
I hope you like and enjoy this recipe as much as I do! It’s perfect for any sink throughout the house!
