I have three littles in diapers right now. I cloth diaper at home, so as to save money on buying diapers and wipes. Those things are expensive! While we still use disposables at night or if I forget to wash the diapers, I try to mostly cloth diaper.
So part of that is this baby wipe solution. I actually love cloth wipes! I think they work even better than wipes and the coconut oil in the recipes moisturizes the baby’s bum.
I’ve even found ways to make this work just like disposable wipes for our diaper bag, which makes it even easier and convenient. While I keep the wipe solution in a square food storage container jar, that is only the refill solution for the wipes. I dunk my wipes in the solution, wring them out, fold them in quarters and place in a much smaller food storage container.
I can usually fit 8-12 in the smaller container, and that is more than enough wipes for several days. I find that each cloth wipe is equal to about 3 disposable wipes, making it great for those poopy diapers.
So if you’re looking for an alternative for those expensive disposable wipes, you should definitely try these! I bet you’ll love them as much as I do!
